Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, request time, referring page and error information. This data is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and protect the service.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of the site. The standard implementation may collect user and session counts, approximate location, browser and device information, and page interactions. Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie named _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions when analytics storage is enabled.
We also measure when a visitor saves or copies a build plan and when a visitor completes one of our on-page guide checklists. Analytics receives the event label, page, game or tool name, and non-sensitive completion counts. The build text, hunt results and checklist selections remain in the visitor's browser and are not sent to Google Analytics.
Google states that IP addresses are used to derive approximate location and are discarded before the data is logged in Google Analytics. Learn more in Google's Analytics data collection documentation.
MonsterSnow first-party analytics
MonsterSnow also keeps its own aggregate traffic record on the same server that delivers the site. It records the page path without query parameters, day and time, language, broad device class, referring host category and selected non-sensitive guide or planner actions. Random browser and session identifiers are converted to one-way hashes before storage. We do not store the visitor's IP address, full browser string, page query, build text or checklist selections in this database. We also record active time on a page in short, whole-second intervals. Time while the page is hidden or after 30 seconds without an interaction is not counted. This measures active use, not the total time a tab stays open; past visits cannot be reconstructed.
Automated browsers and visitors with Do Not Track enabled are excluded. You can also disable or re-enable MonsterSnow's first-party measurement for this browser below.
Information you choose to send
If you contact us by email, we receive the address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. The site does not currently offer user accounts, purchases, comments or a public submission form.
How information is used
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
- To understand which guides are useful and improve navigation and content.
- To respond to corrections, privacy questions and other messages.
- To detect abuse and comply with valid legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not ask visitors to provide passwords, payment information or government identifiers.
Service providers and international processing
Technical information may be processed by providers that help host, secure and measure the site, including Google Analytics. Those providers process information under their own terms and may operate in countries other than your own. Google explains its handling of partner-site data in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Advertising services
MonsterSnow offers an optional banner supplied by Adsterra. The Adsterra advertising code is not requested until a visitor selects Allow advertising. If a visitor declines or has not made a choice, the banner and its third-party code remain off.
When advertising is allowed, Adsterra and participating advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, IP addresses, browser or device information and similar identifiers to deliver, limit and measure ads. Read Adsterra's privacy policy and cookies policy for its current practices.
A Google AdSense account verification tag may also be published to prove control of monstersnow.cloud. That tag does not itself display or request Google advertising. Google AdSense ads remain disabled.
You may change or withdraw your advertising choice below at any time. Withdrawing it prevents new Adsterra requests on subsequent page loads; browser settings can be used to remove cookies already stored by third parties.

Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking analytics storage may reduce the information available in our reports but should not prevent access to our guides. You can also use the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
MonsterSnow does not pass email addresses, email message contents or other information sent through the contact channel to Google through advertising requests. Visitors should not include personal information in page addresses or unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
Retention and security
Analytics and technical logs are retained only for operational, measurement, security and legal needs, subject to the settings and retention practices of the relevant provider. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve the inquiry and maintain an appropriate record. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is a general gaming reference and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts, comments or forms because those features are not offered.
Changes and questions
