Esports World Cup

EWC is a multi-title international event that combines separate game tournaments with an overarching club championship.

Correction

The original 2026 plan named Riyadh, but the organizer's July 17 rulebook notice confirms relocation to Paris. An EWC title does not replace Worlds, TI, a CS2 Major or another publisher's own world championship.

2026 official status

What is confirmed now

The official 2026 event ran for seven weeks from July 6–August 23. The organizer moved the event from its original Riyadh plan to Paris; its official rules and event desk covered 24 game competitions and a separate club points race.

Its place in the global calendar

EWC is not the publisher world championship for every included game. It is an independent multi-title event with its own trophies, prize pools and club standings.
