Correction

The checked 2026 official calendar does not list KIC 2026. A prior claim that it was on that roadmap was unsupported; the absence of a card does not establish cancellation.

2026 official status

What is confirmed now

The checked official 2026 esports calendar lists KWC at EWC26 and other competitions, but does not show a separate KIC 2026 event card. A 2026 KIC edition, date and host remain unconfirmed here.

Why this event matters

Its place in the global calendar

KIC is a historical international championship name in the Honor of Kings ecosystem. The separately branded World Cup at EWC is the current event visible on the checked 2026 calendar.
