Zelda Notes in the Nintendo Switch App adds a daily play record, image-based Gossip Quest locations, a touch ocarina with guides and QR sharing, and a quiz with more than 2,000 questions. Quick checks
- 01Install the current Nintendo Switch App on a compatible smart device.
- 02Open the Ocarina of Time section inside Zelda Notes after the game launches.
- 03Use Today's Record to review activity, not as proof of a complete route.
- 04Match Gossip Quest hint images inside the game to earn ocarina-score progress.
- 05Treat 2027 amiibo masks as future extras until the figures and live game support are available.
Today's Record and Gossip Quest
Today's Record presents a chronological view of daily accomplishments and statistics such as defeated enemies. Gossip Quest shows an image on the smart device and asks the player to locate that place in the game.
Nintendo says Gossip Quest points feed music-score rewards for Play Ocarina. The source does not say that the app reveals every solution or replaces in-game story progress.
Play Ocarina and the daily quiz
Play Ocarina uses the smart-device touchscreen as a virtual instrument. Players can follow a guide, listen to automatic playback or create scores and share them through QR codes.
The Ocarina of Time Quiz contains more than 2,000 questions. It can be attempted once per day, with extra attempts available by spending rupees earned in the game.
- Touchscreen ocarina
- Guided and automatic playback
- Custom scores with QR sharing
- Daily quiz with more than 2,000 questions
amiibo support and timing
Nintendo says any existing Legend of Zelda series amiibo can provide in-game extras. The new Young Link and Young Zelda figures are planned for 2027 and unlock masks with a retro graphical style.
The specific contents for every existing amiibo are not listed on the reviewed US product page, so this guide does not invent an item table.
Requirements and limits
Zelda Notes is a game-specific service inside the Nintendo Switch App on compatible smart devices. Account, device and regional availability should be rechecked at launch.
The companion app can document activity or supply optional tasks, but it does not prove that any unlisted dungeon, item or combat mechanic has changed.
