Mario Kart World Open sets a September 19–20 qualifier

What happened

Nintendo announced the online tournament on September 10.

The notice includes the competition settings and separates participation rewards from qualification.

The practical change: Save Event ID 7943 and verify regional eligibility before treating a high score as a qualification result.

What is confirmed

• The format is 150cc VS Race with normal items, no teams and no COM racers.
• Connected courses are enabled, the maximum is 32 racers and the interval is 30 seconds.
• Event ID is 7943.
• The Americas participation offer includes 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points, subject to the published rules.

Players can practice the exact ruleset before the event.

The tournament requires Switch 2, Mario Kart World, internet access, a Nintendo Account and Nintendo Switch Online.
