Warframe pairs Banshee's evolution with a free login reward

What happened

Digital Extremes previewed Banshee's evolution on September 4.

The studio tied the update to The Iceblade of Narin release and announced a free claim window.

The practical change: Log in during the two-week claim window, then reassess existing Banshee builds against the shipped ability descriptions.

What is confirmed

• The update arrives September 23.
• The login reward contains base Banshee and a built Forma.
• The claim window ends October 7.
• The stated goals include better ability synergy, survivability and quality-of-life changes, alongside the Threnodia skin.

What this means for players

Players can obtain the base Warframe without starting a separate farm during the claim window.

Old builds should be treated as provisional until the final ability text and live values are visible.

What is still unconfirmed

The preview does not establish a final best build or guarantee that all tuning values survive unchanged to release.

What to do next

1. 01
Log in between September 23 and October 7.
2. 02
Read the live ability text before spending Forma.
3. 03
Keep the cosmetic skin separate from the free base-Warframe reward.
