Xbox Game Pass dates September's first nine additions

What happened

Xbox Wire published the September Wave 1 schedule on September 1.

The list dates each addition and identifies day-one arrivals where applicable.

The practical change: Check the official platform and plan labels for the specific game before installing; one lineup does not mean every title is on every tier or device.

What is confirmed

• Shelldiver is dated September 1.
• SpeedRunners 2 is a day-one addition on September 3 and supports up to eight players.
• Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is dated September 8.
• Virtua Fighter 5 REVO and The Royal Writ are dated September 10; RuneScape: Dragonwilds and TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 are dated September 15.

What this means for players

Subscribers can plan downloads around exact arrival dates.

The staggered schedule avoids treating the whole wave as available on September 1.

What is still unconfirmed

The article does not guarantee how long every game will remain in the catalog.

What to do next

1. 01
Verify the listed Game Pass plan and device for the game you want.
2. 02
Use the official product page for download size and regional availability.
3. 03
Do not assume catalog permanence from an addition date.
