Aniimo Beginner Guide: Capture and First-Team Route

Start with a small roster, learn the capture loop and build a reliable first team without inventing a launch-week tier list.

Direct answer: Follow the opening objectives until capture is available, catch a small role-diverse group, and learn one Aniimo's basic attack, skills and movement before spending broadly. Keep a slot for a task the current team cannot solve instead of chasing every visible creature.

Do this first

  1. 01
Finish the guided opening before free-roam detours.
  2. 02
Capture a small group with different practical roles.
  3. 03
Test basic attack, skills and movement in a low-risk area.
  4. 04
Spend training resources on the role you are actually using.
  5. 05
Add a new Aniimo only when it solves a missing task.

Build a small working roster

The launch roster exceeds 200 Aniimo, but roster size is not early progression. A small team is easier to understand, train and compare.

Keep notes on what each current Aniimo actually solves: travel, control, damage, survival or another visible task. Do not turn rarity or social-media attention into an unsupported performance claim.

Treat capture as a repeatable loop

Approach, observe the encounter and learn the capture prompt under safe conditions. Confirm the result before spending more resources or leaving the area.

If a capture fails, change one variable at a time. The official guide confirms capture as a core system but does not publish a universal success formula.

Learn before you level

Test movement, attacks and skills before committing training materials. A familiar lower-investment Aniimo can be more useful than a new creature whose role you have not learned.

Recheck live descriptions after updates; launch-week values and community rankings can change.

Claim capture tools without mistaking a reward for a permanent route

The official launch notice says Grade I Wayfarer unlocks a choice of one rare Prismana Aniimo. Aniilog capture milestones can award accessories, while launch activities can award Sparkling Cubes, Aniipod Ultras and Tumblers. Check the current event screen before assuming those launch rewards are still claimable.

The developer says an Aniimo caught with a Sparkling Cube has guaranteed Perfect Potential. That does not mean every wild encounter is a guaranteed catch or that every limited event remains available.
