Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos
Jason Duval
Jason grew up around criminals and later served in the Army while trying to leave troubled teenage years behind. Rockstar places him in the Leonida Keys, working for local drug runners and wanting an easier life that keeps getting harder.
His official profile treats meeting Lucia as a possible turning point. The wider story premise says the pair must rely on each other after an easy score goes wrong.
Lucia Caminos
Lucia learned to fight from her father and was sent to Leonida Penitentiary after fighting for her family. She is now out, focused on improving the odds for herself and pursuing the better life her mother imagined.
Rockstar presents her as deliberate rather than passive: she has a plan and sees life with Jason as a possible route out. The outcome of that plan is not disclosed.
The supporting people Rockstar has profiled
Cal Hampton
A fellow associate of Brian who prefers staying home, monitoring Coast Guard communications and following conspiracies. Rockstar contrasts his comfort with Jason's larger plans.

Who is confirmed as playable?
Rockstar's current story and marketing clearly place Jason and Lucia at the center of the game. The official profiles, however, do not provide a formal exhaustive statement such as “these are the only playable characters,” nor do they declare any supporting profile playable.
Treat Jason and Lucia as the established leads. Treat Cal, Boobie, Dre'Quan, Real Dimez, Raul and Brian as officially named supporting people until Rockstar says more.
What the profiles do not reveal
- The full cast, complete voice cast or every faction.
- Every mission role, betrayal, death, ending or relationship outcome.
- A final character-switching system or the share of time spent with each lead.
- Whether a promotional image represents a playable scene, a cutscene or a final launch-build sequence.
This boundary is useful because character rumor pages often turn a screenshot, casting claim or trailer edit into a story fact. This guide records only what Rockstar attaches to a named profile or explicit premise.
