Minecraft Treasure Hunt Watch Challenge: rewards and September 13 deadline

What happened

Mojang opened the Treasure Hunt Watch Challenge on September 4.

The event assigns one character item to TikTok viewing and another to Twitch viewing.

Direct answer: Watch an eligible Minecraft TikTok stream for three minutes to earn Aqua Cool Fish, and an eligible Twitch stream for five minutes to earn Amethyst Drone. Redeem both codes by September 13 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The practical change: Link the correct Microsoft account, use an eligible stream on each platform, and redeem both codes before the published cutoff.

What is confirmed

• TikTok Game Reward streams require at least three minutes of viewing for Aqua Cool Fish.
• Partner or Affiliate Twitch streams in the Minecraft category require at least five minutes for Amethyst Drone.
• Codes must be redeemed by September 13 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
• Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is required, and each reward is limited to one per Microsoft account.

What this means for players

The rewards have separate platform steps, so completing one stream does not automatically grant both.

A code that is not redeemed by the deadline is not preserved by merely earning it.

What is still unconfirmed

Mojang does not promise equivalent alternate claim methods after the event ends.

What to do next

1. 01
Confirm the account connection before watching.
2. 02
Use the required Minecraft category on Twitch.
3. 03
Redeem each code immediately rather than waiting for the deadline.
