Xbox Free Play Days opens six timed trials for September 10–13

What happened

Xbox published the September 10 Free Play Days lineup.

The post separates subscription-gated access from Madden NFL 27's wider Xbox-member availability and Dustborn's two-hour trial.

The practical change: Check the access rule beside the specific game before downloading; this is not one universal free-to-own offer.

What is confirmed

• Borderlands 4, F1 25 2026 Edition, Surviving Mars Relaunched and CarX Drift Racing Online require an eligible Game Pass tier.
• Dustborn is a two-hour trial.
• Madden NFL 27 is open to all Xbox members for the event.
• Purchased copies retain earned progress and achievements.

What this means for players

Players can prioritize short trials before the window closes.

A download does not grant permanent ownership.

What is still unconfirmed

The post does not guarantee identical store discounts in every region or availability after the stated event window.

What to do next

1. 01
Verify eligibility on the live store tile.
2. 02
Start the shortest trial only when ready to play.
3. 03
Check the purchase price before the event ends.
