Dragonwilds 1.0: Start Solo or Host Friends?

Three independent channels posted beginner-focused Dragonwilds 1.0 guides around launch. Before copying anyone's skill order, decide whether the first session is a solo learning world or a co-op world you can invite friends into. The released 1.0 notes make that choice concrete.

The repeated beginner format supports a first-session decision: solo learning or a shared world. Hosting and invite-code instructions belong to the dedicated crossplay guide. This sample cannot establish the best build, fastest progression, overall popularity or what all players choose.

Capture boundary

YouTube public-search snapshot captured September 20, 2026 at 08:48 Beijing time, Singapore region, English language. Three relevant non-live beginner guides from Northforge, ComfyQuesting and Durty HQ were shown as four to six days old. Their displayed views were 26,869, 64,748 and 23,372 respectively. They are three of 20 cleaned Dragonwilds results from 14 channels; videos are signals of player interest, not sources for the game's rules.

Three independent guides are teaching the opening again

Northforge published a 1.0 beginner guide, ComfyQuesting listed first-start lessons, and Durty HQ framed 1.0 beginner tips. These are different channels with different visible audiences, yet each treats the released version's opening as a task worth explaining. Their titles do not establish a consensus skill order or a preferred mode.

The practical decision comes before skill rankings: will you learn the world alone, or designate one person to own a shared long-term world? That choice changes who controls availability and world settings. The older MonsterSnow progress-or-restart article addresses protecting an Early Access save; this article concerns choosing a released 1.0 session shape.

Set the session up for the people who will actually play it

For a shared start, designate the world owner before anyone invests in a base. Agree when that host will be available, whether the world must persist without them and who is responsible for protecting progress. The separate crossplay setup guide owns the platform settings and join instructions.

For a solo learning start, choose your world settings deliberately and learn basic gathering and combat before treating a creator route as universal. Jagex confirms Custom and Creative world options and more than 50 custom variables, but this video sample does not test how any particular option affects progression or achievements. Record the setting that matters to you before building a long-term world.

If you are already moving toward the new Scorned Wilderness, separate your building goal from a raid goal. Jagex identifies its Hub as buildable and its Raid area as no-build. Bring the raid equipment you can verify in your installed 1.0 build; do not follow a base-location thumbnail into the no-build area and then assume a bug.

  • Shared world: designate the host and agree how the group will preserve access and progress.
  • Solo world: decide which custom setting you want to live with before investing in a base.
  • Scorned Wilderness: plan construction in the Hub and prepare the Raid as an expedition.

The world rules are official; the optimal opening is still open

Jagex confirms the September 15 1.0 launch across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, plus the Hub/Raid construction boundary. Its launch note also adds Regicide and Kuldra, but a named quest and boss are not a complete route or a guaranteed first-session goal.

The three videos prove only that separate creators are addressing new-player questions in the current search sample. They do not verify a best skill order, a safe shortcut for every world, a console performance verdict or a tested raid build. Those claims would require released-version steps and their own source checks.

Editorial read: first decide who owns the world and where the base belongs. Copy a creator's progression route only after those setup choices match your session.
