Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave — Dagsion Preparation and Exploration

Plan the turns between Heroic Games matches: recruitment, Renown gates, auto-activities, classes and safe world-map trips, using Nintendo's published rules.

Direct answer

Before the next match, check the remaining turns and deadline, then decide whether you need an ally, a facility unlock or supplies. Recruit in Dagsion, use optional quests to build Renown when a facility is locked, and budget world-map movement because each move passes time. The inn's auto-activities can also spend between-match turns for money, experience and resources. There is no universal route: choose the task your squad needs now.

This guide describes published rules, not a fabricated complete route or optimized build. Check the released game for changing values and exact availability.

What to do

  1. 01
Read the next Heroic Games deadline and remaining between-match turns before choosing a detour.
  2. 02
In Dagsion, inspect available recruits; Nintendo says some join immediately while others may need a gift or a meal.
  3. 03
If a useful facility is unavailable, check whether an optional town quest can raise Renown before spending time elsewhere.
  4. 04
Plan any town, resource or dungeon trip against the remaining turns, including travel back before the match.
  5. 05
If time or play session length is tight, compare the inn's auto-activities for money, experience or resources; verify the live menu before committing turns.

City preparation

Nintendo's launch article names recruitment around town, temple Blessings, training grounds and friendship at inns. The developer interview adds that Dagsion contains scoutable characters, including some members of other protagonists' clans. This makes the city a natural stop before a difficult battle.

No official source cited here provides a complete recruit calendar or exact blessing costs. Check current availability in the released game; do not treat every option as present from the first visit.

Classes and growth rates

The interview says classes can generally be changed after meeting skill requirements and passing certification exams. Character growth rates are visible for the first time in this series entry, giving a clue about which basic stats are more likely to grow. The developers encourage experiments, including unusual class choices.

A visible growth rate is a planning input, not proof that a particular class is best for every player. Record the unit's current skills, the certification requirements and the tactical role the party needs before changing class.

Use the world map without inventing a route

The launch article identifies quests, resource gathering, roaming foes and dungeons on the world map. Nintendo's UK tips add the operational limit: every move across the map passes time before the next match. Check the visible turn budget, choose a town for a needed item or information, or enter a dungeon only if its likely value justifies the trip.

The interview says exploration is flexible within the time allowed and that paths later share some unlocked map spots. A screenshot does not reveal every dungeon reward or a precise optimal route. Return to the story when the immediate preparation task is done.

  • City: recruitment, Blessings, training and bonds.
  • Class check: skills, certification and visible growth rates.
  • World map: count travel turns before collecting or dungeon crawling.
  • Boundary: exact availability and rewards need released-game checking.

When the between-match plan stalls

If a desired facility is locked, check Renown rather than assuming a missing patch: Nintendo says match victories and optional townsfolk quests raise it, unlocking more facilities. If a recruit declines, check whether the game offers a gift or shared meal; Nintendo does not promise every character will join immediately.

If a distant objective would consume too many turns, postpone it and use a closer preparation task. The inn offers auto-activities that advance money, experience or resources during between-match turns. Compare the visible reward and turn cost in the released game before selecting one; the official article does not give a universal best activity or fixed income table.

  • Locked facility → inspect Renown and available local quests.
  • Recruit does not join → inspect conversation, gift or meal options.
  • Too few turns for a trip → compare a closer task or inn auto-activity.
  • Reward unclear → use the live activity and travel panels, not a guessed guide value.
