Direct answer

The Iconoclast arrives in the prologue. Seven more primary weapons are found in Fainweald and Mammon, often at the end of a dungeon or after a named boss.

This guide separates official facts, independently cross-checked launch information and field-testing advice. Patch-sensitive costs, drop rates and damage values are omitted unless the current build and accessible evidence agree.

Quick route

  1. 01
Take the Iconoclast during the prologue.
  2. 02
Search Fainweald for the Veteran's Battle Axe, Axe and Dagger, and Great Martyr's Blade.
  3. 03
Search Mammon for the Obsidian Hammer, Axatana, Black Needle and Clockwork Scythe.
  4. 04
Unlock the nearest Beacon before attempting a guarded pickup.

The eight primary weapons

The launch material supports eight primary melee weapons: The Iconoclast, Veteran's Battle Axe, Axe and Dagger, Great Martyr's Blade, Obsidian Hammer, Axatana, Black Needle and Clockwork Scythe.

A separate set of eight sidearms fills the ranged and utility slot. Do not mix the two checklists when tracking completion.

  • The Iconoclast — prologue with Harros.
  • Veteran's Battle Axe — King's Crypt.
  • Axe and Dagger — Fainweald route pickup.
  • Great Martyr's Blade — Citadel route.
  • Obsidian Hammer — Obsidianite Mines boss reward.
  • Axatana — Forgotten Tower.
  • Black Needle — Mammon progression route.
  • Clockwork Scythe — Sariel in the Chamber of Becoming.

Route by region

Clear the early Fainweald tools before making a completion run through Mammon. The later weapons sit behind more dangerous routes and boss conditions, so a direct sprint can create a pickup guide that is technically correct but practically unusable.

Secure the pickup

Activate the nearest Beacon, spend excess Gloom, and make one dry run to identify the arena or dungeon exit. After claiming a weapon, return to Marrow Keep before testing upgrades.

Choose before upgrading

Use the weapon unmodified against a basic enemy, an armored target and a group. Reach, recovery time and posture pressure matter more than a single damage number viewed in isolation.
