Weapons

Choose a weapon by the decisions it asks you to make. Beginner fit and performance ranking are separate questions, so the Atlas gives each its own method.

Choose by the failure you want to remove

A weapon choice becomes useful when it changes a decision you can observe. Do not begin with a global tier number. Begin with the moment that currently breaks your hunt, then test one weapon whose controls make that moment easier to read.

Current problemWhat to testEvidence to record
You attack after the opening closesA shorter commitment or a clearer guard responseForced heals and attacks completed inside five matched hunts
You cannot reach the intended partDifferent reach, mobility or a ranged firing positionSuccessful part-focused openings, not training-room damage
A resource loop keeps collapsingA simpler loop before adding damage skillsCompleted weapon cycles and maintenance stops
Multiplayer target changes waste attacksMobility, reach or support that survives changing attentionUseful actions during target switches and knockdowns

Use the same three-step trial for every weapon

  1. Open the current in-game Weapon Controls and Training Area. Reproduce the weapon's basic resource, defense and conversion loop without a build bonus.
  2. Take the default or low-investment setup into one familiar quest five times. Record carts, forced healing, successful loops and clear time.
  3. Change only the weapon or one support job. Keep the quest, food and items stable so the comparison answers a real question.

The beginner weapon guide explains the first selection. The tier list keeps beginner fit, solo consistency, multiplayer value and execution ceiling on separate boards. Once a weapon earns a place, use the build directory to solve its specific loop instead of copying an unexplained armor screenshot.
