DPS Build Lab

A highest hit is a highlight. A useful DPS result is a repeatable experiment with the full cost of attacking included.

Measure three different outputs

TrainingRotation DPSA clean 90-second mechanical baseline.
FieldHunt uptimeDamage after movement, defense and recovery.
OutcomeClear consistencyMedian time and spread across five hunts.

The repeatable protocol

  1. 01
    Freeze the loadout

Record version, weapon state, armor, skills, food, buffs and temporary effects.

  2. 02
    Run a fixed rotation

Use the same target, hitzone and 90-second window. Report mistakes; do not silently reset them away.

  3. 03
Take it into one fixed quest

Keep player count and conditions consistent. Record five complete runs.

  4. 04
    Publish the middle

Show median, best, worst and the reasons damage stopped.

What a result card includes

MetricWhy it matters
Hit / rotation damageShows the mechanical ceiling under controlled conditions.
Skill trigger uptimeReveals bonuses that look permanent on a build sheet but are not.
Sharpen / reload / stamina lossCounts the maintenance cost of the build.
Median hunt timeRepresents a repeatable outcome better than the fastest run.
Damage interruptionsExplains why comfort can beat a theoretical gain.

What this lab will not claim

One monster cannot prove a universal best build. One record cannot represent a normal hunt. One creator’s calculation cannot replace a reproducible input sheet.

Results will remain marked as a testing framework until the full Ver. 1.041 loadout and run evidence is attached.
