All 47 Pop-up Camp Locations

Use the complete 47-site coordinate list instead of an incomplete launch map. Every row gives the in-game region, area label, site name and safety rating for a practical fast-travel network.

Pop-up Camp answer: 47 fixed sites across five regions

The current field checklist contains 47 named Pop-up Camp sites: 13 in Windward Plains, 12 in Scarlet Forest, 8 in Oilwell Basin, 7 in Iceshard Cliffs and 7 in Ruins of Wyveria. Find a fixed site, set it up with the Camping Kit, then compare route value with the displayed safety rating.

Plains13 sitesThe largest coordinate set and several risky shortcuts.
Forest12 sitesStrong fishing, monster and vertical-route coverage.
Basin8 sitesSplit across upper, middle and lower strata.
Cliffs + Wyveria7 + 7Layer checks matter more than straight-line distance.
“Coordinates” here means the player-facing map coordinate: region + numbered area + named campsite. Internal X/Y/Z values are not shown because they are not visible or useful on the in-game map.

All 47 Pop-up Camp coordinates

The list counts discoverable fixed sites, not the smaller number of camps you can keep active at once. Safety can be revised by the live game, so read the current setup prompt if it differs from this verified field list.

Why some older lists stop at 39 or 40: one public game-data extract repeats eight records and omits eight distinct named sites, while several launch guides missed late-found locations. This page uses the 47-name player-facing list after reconciling the extract, a full field checklist and a 47-location video.

How to set up a Pop-up Camp

  1. 01
Progress until the system is available.

The official starter guide describes Pop-up Camps as a feature unlocked as you progress; it does not publish one universal quest name for every current route.

  2. 02
    Find a suitable fixed site.

Pop-up Camps are limited to designated locations, so an attractive open space is not automatically a valid placement point.

  3. 03
    Use the Camping Kit prompt.

Confirm the site, read its current safety information and establish the camp.

  4. 04
    Test the route immediately.

Fast travel to the camp, mark the target or resource and check whether the real approach is shorter than the map suggested.

Camp risk, destruction and repair

Large monsters can discover and destroy a Pop-up Camp. The game assigns a risk rating based on the probability of that happening, so the most convenient site is not automatically the most stable one. A destroyed camp can be repaired for a small amount of Guild Points.

Site profileBest useTrade-off
Near a repeated target routeShort farming loops and quick re-entryMonster traffic may raise destruction risk
Near gathering branchesOre, plants and route-based material runsMay be less useful for the next large monster
Safer peripheral siteStable fallback and preparation pointLonger approach after fast travel
Do not read “unsafe” as “useless.” A high-value route can justify repair cost when it removes enough repeated travel. Judge the site across several hunts, not one destruction.

What can you do at a Pop-up Camp?

Official PlayStation guidance says Pop-up Camps provide the same options as a base camp. They are fast-travel destinations, tent access points for item and equipment management, places to start quests and return points after fainting.

  • Fast travel to shorten a hunt or gathering route.
  • Restock items and change equipment through the tent.
  • Start quests from a closer field position.
  • Return after fainting when the camp is available.
  • Customize the tent and furniture as the game permits.

How to choose the best camp location

  1. 01
    Name the job.

Target hunt, repeated material loop, exploration branch or safe fallback.

  2. 02
    Measure the final approach.

A nearby map icon can still require climbing, a detour or a different layer.

  3. 03
    Read the risk.

Decide whether the saved travel justifies possible repair and downtime.

  4. 04
    Keep a fallback.

Know which base camp or safer Pop-up Camp preserves the route if the preferred site is unavailable.

Pop-up Camp FAQ

Why can't I place a camp anywhere?

The system uses designated suitable sites. Find a valid location and use the current Camping Kit prompt rather than trying to place a free-form tent.

Can I fast travel to a destroyed camp?

A destroyed camp must be restored before it can serve the route again. Use the current map and camp state, then pay the shown Guild Point repair cost.

Should I always choose the safest camp?

No. A moderately risky camp can be the better operational choice when it removes enough repeated travel. Keep a safer fallback and review actual repair frequency.
