Search the current client first
Use the English item name shown by the smithy, item box or equipment requirement. Then check the Field Guide, Hunter’s Notes and map filters to identify whether the source is a monster, gathering point, quest reward or support system. That classification prevents a generic “location” answer from sending you to the wrong activity.
Four source paths
A five-step material lookup
- 01Copy the exact name
Do not translate or shorten it while searching the English client.
- 02Confirm the rank
Low and High Rank can use the same location while offering different item pools.
- 03Identify the source channel
Separate carves, breaks, quest rewards, map nodes and support systems.
- 04Read the condition
Record the named part, environment, time, quest or map layer when relevant.
- 05Stop at the requirement
Check how many the smithy needs before repeating the route.
What every individual item page must show
| Field | Reason |
|---|---|
| Exact item name and rank | Prevents cross-rank or translation confusion. |
| Source type and condition | Tells the hunter what action creates an attempt. |
| Region, layer or monster | Makes the source navigable. |
| Reliable method and alternatives | Separates access from efficiency. |
| Equipment uses | Creates a two-way path between source and goal. |
| Version and review date | Makes stale routes visible. |
