Star Wars Zero Company Enemies & Combat

The Infinite Coil is the campaign threat, but the immediate danger is whatever can stop the objective this turn. Read activation, position and mission pressure before chasing the nearest target.

Who is Zero Company fighting?

The central operation targets the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned paramilitary cult led by Kundri Fathom. EA describes the enemy as elusive and confirms a campaign of tactical operations and investigations rather than one uninterrupted battlefield.

This launch archive separates confirmed official facts from editorial tactical advice. Unverified ability values, mission rewards, exact enemy statistics and definitive tier lists are not invented.

Prioritize mission-ending threats

Do not equate proximity with priority. The most dangerous enemy is the one that can deny the objective, isolate an Operator, remove your recovery option or force a bad route before the next activation.

Priority 1Objective denialCan it stop the win condition?
Priority 2ControlCan it remove your next safe action?
Priority 3BurstCan it finish an exposed Operator?
Priority 4SupportDoes it amplify multiple enemies?

Run a 20-second turn audit

Before spending the first Action Point, name the mission loss condition and the one Operator who must remain able to answer it. Then score each visible enemy against the same four questions instead of changing priorities after every hit.

ObjectiveCan it end or delay the mission now?

Mark anything occupying, targeting or cutting off the required space.

ControlCan it remove movement or the next action?

Protect the Operator whose turn keeps the plan alive.

DamageCan it finish an exposed squad member?

Count the attack you can see, not an invented hidden value.

SupportDoes removing it weaken several threats?

Take the support target only when the objective remains covered.

Choose one of three responses

  • Remove: the target can end the objective or finish an exposed Operator before your next safe action.
  • Displace or control: you cannot remove it efficiently, but one status or forced movement preserves the mission route.
  • Ignore for one activation: it cannot affect the objective, reach a vulnerable Operator or amplify another threat this turn.

After the enemy acts, repeat the audit. A low-priority target can become first priority when it gains line of sight or reaches the objective; yesterday's static tier list cannot see that board state.

Read the battlefield in four passes

  1. 01
    Mark the objective

Identify the route and every position that can deny it.

  2. 02
    Mark enemy influence

Note which lanes become unsafe after each visible action.

  3. 03
    Preserve an exit

Do not commit the whole squad to one line without a recovery square.

  4. 04
    Finish only when safe

Removing a target is useful only if the objective and next turn remain covered.

Expect the campaign to react

Official descriptions say the enemy threat evolves and battlefield decisions produce different outcomes. Treat each failed plan as information: change one route, one role or one timing decision, then compare the result.

Three mistakes to avoid

Chasing the closest enemy

It can pull the squad away from the actual objective or expose the recovery role.

Stacking one lane

A strong firing line can still fail if the mission demands movement, investigation or extraction.

Inventing enemy statistics
