Rare material source finder
Start with the exact English item name shown by the smithy or equipment requirement. Then identify whether the source is a monster reward, an Artian investigation material, a reinforcement resource, a map node or an update-specific quest. A universal “rare materials route” does not exist because these pools do not share the same attempt.
Artian materials: unlock, combine and reinforce
Complete the Chapter 4 mission Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns to unlock Artian weapon forging. An Artian weapon uses three Artian Materials, and all three must have the same rarity. Materials belong to four categories—Blade, Device, Disc and Tube—and each weapon type asks for a particular combination.

Monster rare parts and update-specific materials
For a named monster part, open Hunter’s Notes and read the correct rank before choosing a quest. The reward source may be a target reward, carve, broken part, wound or quest completion pool. After clearing an Assignment, the quest board commonly offers Optional Quests for the same monster, which creates a repeatable source of materials.

A farm plan that stops wasting attempts
- 01Pin the exact requirement
Copy the item name, rank and quantity from the smithy before leaving camp.
- 02Confirm the reward channel
Choose the hunt, investigation, support system or gathering route that actually creates an attempt.
- 03Prepare the condition
Bring the damage type, part access, capture tool or map route needed for that source—not a generic farming loadout.
- 04Prefer repeatable access
An Optional Quest or saved investigation is usually more useful than a faster route you cannot reliably recreate.
- 05Stop at the crafting quantity
Return to the smithy when the requirement is met instead of continuing a rare farm without a goal.
When an event or title update adds a new material, keep it attached to that quest and version. Current official material confirms Gogmazios rewards can be used with Artian weapons to create Gogma Artian weapons; that does not make those rewards interchangeable with standard Artian components.

How do I unlock Artian weapon forging?
Complete the Chapter 4 mission Wyvern Sparks and Rose Thorns. You then forge an Artian weapon with three same-rarity Artian Materials in the category combination required by that weapon type.
Where do Artian Reinforcement Materials come from?
Use Festival Shares with Nata or Roqul in Azuz. The reinforcement materials are recoverable when dismantling; the original Artian components are not.
Why are exact rare drop rates missing?
The site does not publish a rate unless the current game interface shows it. Check Hunter’s Notes for the active rank and reward channel, then optimize the number of valid attempts.
