Stardew Valley Community Center and Bundles Guide

Unlock the Community Center, read bundle progress correctly and build a seasonal reserve without turning every day into a completion checklist.

Direct answer: Trigger the town event, inspect the Golden Scroll, follow the Wizard quest, then track bundle needs from the player menu. Store seasonal items before selling duplicates, and do not buy a Joja membership unless you intend to replace the Community Center route.

Do this first

  1. 01
Enter Pelican Town from the Bus Stop on an eligible morning after Spring 5.
  2. 02
Re-enter the Community Center and inspect the Golden Scroll.
  3. 03
Read the Wizard's letter and complete the visit that unlocks scroll reading.
  4. 04
Check bundle progress from the Golden Scroll icon in the player menu.
  5. 05
Store seasonal, quality-specific and hard-to-replace items before selling extras.

Unlock the route in the right order

The opening event has conditions: from Spring 5 onward, enter Pelican Town from the Bus Stop between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on a non-rainy day. In multiplayer, the host triggers it.

After the building opens, inspect the Golden Scroll, then read the Wizard's letter the next morning and visit his tower. That sequence unlocks the ability to read the Junimo requests.

Track needs before you sell

The player menu's Golden Scroll icon shows bundle progress and reacts when a selected inventory item is needed. Use it as the current record instead of relying on memory or a checklist for different bundle settings.

Reserve one seasonal example first, especially fish, forage, crops and quality-specific items. Sell the excess after the bundle question is answered.

Complete rooms for functional rewards

Individual bundles grant immediate rewards, while finishing every bundle in a room triggers a room reward after the day ends. This means a partly completed room can still produce useful items without requiring a full-year sprint.

Prioritize the room reward that solves a real farm bottleneck, then let weather and season determine which remaining items are practical now.

Treat Joja as a route choice

Buying a JojaMart membership replaces the Community Center with a Joja Warehouse and changes restoration from item bundles to purchased developments.

Do not buy the membership as an experiment in a save where you want the Junimo route. Keep a separate manual decision point if you are comparing the two outcomes.
